Maybelline has reformulated and repackaged their Expert Wear Single Eyeshadows, promising extraordinary color thanks to blendable, creamy saturated pigments.  They are available in 20 shades, and are very budget friendly, with a $2.98 price tag at Walmart.  The formulation of the single shadows are marketed to provide no fading, with up to 14 hours of wear. Maybelline Master Blush Color & Highlight Kit

New from Maybelline is the Master Blush Color & Highlight Kit, which contains a collection of 3 matte blushes and a highlighter shade.  Currently it is available in only the one shade option.  Will be interesting to see if they add different shade palettes in the future.  With that being said, Maybelline encourages you to use each shade alone or mix and match to create a custom cheek color.  The blushes are a gel-based formula and Maybelline states that they feature ultra-saturated pigments that deliver high color payoff.  They also state that this weightless, gel-based formula blends in one simple stroke. Covergirl TruNaked Jewels Eyeshadow Palette First Impressions

Walked into my local Shoppers Drug Mart today to pick up a few items and happened upon a new eyeshadow palette from Covergirl.  This is the Jewels Palette, and it is the 4th addition to the TruNaked line.  If you’ve never used any of Covergirl’s TruNaked palettes, you really are missing out, as they are, in my opinion, the best drugstore eyeshadow palettes available.  Covergirl boasts that “these intensely pigmented shadows offer smooth, blendable application and rich payout—just like a leading $50 eyeshadow palette”, and I agree as discussed in my blog post on the other palettes here: Continue reading

Wet N Wild Sequins & Stardust Limited Edition Collection

Wet N Wild has a new Limited Edition Collection, Sequins & Stardust.  It appeared out of nowhere really, and a lovely gal whom I follow on Instagram was kind enough to let me share her pics of the collection here with you today.  Her name is Monica, and her Instagram is villemo20:  and she has a great blog as well:  So go give her a follow!  She found the products at Harmon Face Values in NYC.  This collection looks absolutely beautiful!!  I cannot wait to get my hands on them.  There are loose pigments, nail polish, lipgloss and lashes.  I am really excited about the pigments, and the polishes look divine!  Monica passed on the lip glosses, but she wants to go back and get them, so keep an eye out on her pages.  So let’s take a look: Continue reading

Rimmel The Only One Lipstick Review and Swatches

Rimmel has launched a new line of lipsticks called The Only 1.  A pretty bold name for a lipstick, as Rimmel claims it’s “a no compromise, ALL-IN-ONE LIPSTICK”, which promises to be ‘the only lipstick you’ll ever need’, because it provides ‘long lasting colour, comfort, moisture and wear’.  Is this true?  Will I only ever need these lipsticks, and never want to buy another brand??  Let’s take a look… Continue reading

Keurig 2.0 K200 Single Cup Brewing System and Van Houtte Specialty Coffees

I really meant to post this on #nationalcoffeeday, which would of been September 29, but I was sitting back and relaxing while sipping on a nice cup of Vanilla Latte Specialty Coffee by Van Houtte, which I brewed in my new Keurig 2.0 K200 Single-Cup Coffee Brewing System.  The only thinking I had to do that day was decide between Vanilla Latte or a Cappuccino.  So you can see how I forgot…..I was enjoying my homemade brew too much! Physician Formula Eye Booster Instant Lash Extension Kit

New from Physicians Formula is the Instant Lash Extension Kit.  As described by Physicians Formula:

I purchased this from Shopper’s Drug Mart for $21 (CDN) and was able to use a $9 mail in rebate coupon immediately at the cash register.  I know….very pricey for a drugstore mascara, but it was making so many promises and claims that my miniscule lashes were calling out to BUY!!
