Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Cheek Flush Review

Expanding on their ‘Baby Lips” Line, Maybelline has released Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Cheek Flush, in two shades available now in drugstores across the US ($5.99).  The packaging on these cute little flushes is so cute and is part of their appeal.  The little bulb of product is dome shaped and resembles an EOS lip balm.

Maybelline calls it a “Fool-proof sheer blush” and a “fresh, tinted creamy gel formula that applies smoothly and looks natural, not overdone.”

Unfortunately these cheek flushes are a fail for me.  When applied they add a dewy, shiny, waxy uncomfortable feeling on my cheeks.  It’s like I’ve placed a tinted Vaseline on my face.  They are a sheer blush, and they do have poor pigmentation and the more you apply the greasier it feels.  When blended out it looses its pigmentation, and it never seems to dry down or sink into your skin.  So unless you like a shiny, waxy texture on your cheeks, then I’d recommend that you skip these!

Too bad they didn’t work out. It looks like a cute product.

Thanks for sharing this! I was not a fan of their bouncy blushes, I’ll just skip these too.
