Maybelline has added 10 new permanent shades to their Color Sensational Creamy Matte lipstick line. As you may have read earlier on my blog, I love their creamy matte lipsticks and am excited that they have expanded the line with fun new shades to choose from.
Maybelline’s Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lip Color delivers a burst of bold lip color and a surge of creamy texture in make-a-statement shades, for mattes your lips will love to wear!.
I have 4 shades to review with you today:
- #656 Clay Crush: A light peachy brown.
- #682 Blushing Pout: A cool toned pink with lavender undertone.
- #686 Pink Sugar: A bubblegum pink.
- #687 All Fired Up: A beautiful red-pink.
ALL FIRED UP
All shades had great pigmentation and delivered the “burst of lip colour” that Maybelline promises. They have that creamy-velvety matte finish which make them so comfortable to wear, which is why I love them. However, I’m very disappointed in Pink Sugar, as I found it made my lips look dry and settled into lip lines and clung to dry patches as opposed to the other shades ( as noted in above pic ). I also found it applied rather streaky, and didn’t wear as well. I absolutely LOVE All Fired Up and Clay Crush!!
As mentioned earlier, there are 10 new shades in all, and I here is a photo of them courtesy of nouveacheap.com :
Currently available across the US, and they are permanent!! Which is a good thing because I want to get my paws on Vibrant Violet!
For my Canadian followers, I have heard a rumour that they will be released in Canada later this year, but perhaps not all 10 shades and as a Limited Edition Release. Because you know, us Canadians like a good hunt LOL :<)
