L’Oreal released new eyeshadow quads, called Colour Riche Dual Effects, last June/July. This particular eyeshadow collection is broken down into two categories: True Nudes and Color Smokes.
It’s a gorgeous quad and all the colours work so well together!
The shadows are creamy “like butter”, pigmented and blendable. These colours were all swatched on bare skin without primer. However, I have to add that using a primer with these shadows is best because it will increase the overall pigmentation and will ensure all day wear. Overall, L’Oreal has made an excellent improvement in their formula from previous L’Oreal eyeshadow quads.
I’m not really sure why they are called Duel Effect eye shadows. As you can see above, the shadows are all shimmers, with perhaps a subtle duo chrome effect to the light colour on the left, but even then it’s a stretch. No where on the actual palette does it mention duo chrome either. So just keep this in mind if you are purchasing them for a duo chrome shadow……these are not.
Thanks for stopping bye……..until next time
