Maybelline has released five new 24 Hr Color Tattoo Eyeshadows as part of the Leather Collection. They will be permanent , but I am sure current store stock will sell out quickly! During a cross border trip, I was very happy to find them at Walmart, and I was excited to get my hands on these, as they are not set to be released in Canada until August. I hope all my Canadian Beauty friends will enjoy this post in particular, so that you’ll know which shades you want to get! So lets get started…
Vintage Plum a matte lavender with grey undertones, definitely not a plum. It does tend to apply patchy, so you need to apply a few thin layers to even it out.
Chocolate Suede a beautiful chocolate brown with a hint of shimmer. It applies evenly and is very pigmented.
Deep Forest a matte khaki green. It applies patchy, but after a few layers it evens out beautifully.
Creamy Beige a tan beige, with a soft shimmer that is barely noticeable. Applies very nicely and very pigmented.
There is a fifth color tattoo called Dramatic Black, which is basically a black color, which is matte. I skipped this one, as I was sure I’d not use it. But it is part of the collection, so keep that in mind.
These new Color Tattoos are beautiful and I know I will be using them a lot, either on their own or under a shadow as a primer. I really can’t say to buy one over the other……they’re just too nice 🙂
Hope this was helpful. To my American Beauty friends….have you spotted them in stores? What did you pick up??
Until next time….thanks for stopping by & enjoy the weekend!
