CoverGirl has released a new mascara with a very interesting and truly unique mascara wand. The formula promises “Full. Long. Refined. Sexy, teased lashes!” Total Tease Mascara is formulated to darken and thicken lashes for maximum lash definition. I love the packaging of the product. The bubble gum pink against the black, and the design of the cover is very sleek!
The lash comb is so unique! It consists of two combs in one. First there is the main side of the brush used to apply the formula, and on the other side is a specialized detailing tip which allows for targeted application to the inner and outer corners of your lashes. It’s also designed to catch, comb and tease out clumps. I also appreciate the fact that a ton of product doesn’t come out on the brush. It gives a nice fanned out look.
Personally I love both the formula of the mascara and the brush. It is a wet formula, which I prefer, but it doesn’t take forever to dry, just gives enough time to use the unique comb of the brush to manipulate your lashes as preferred. I find dry formula aren’t as accommodating. This formula barely clumps, and what little clumping there is, is easily corrected by using the detailed tip which allows you to comb out the lashes. It gives nice length, more so than volume. It wears very well with no smudging and removes easily with Micellar Water.
It is expected for release in May, but I stumbled across it in my local Shopper’s Drug Mart for $9.99. I highly recommend giving it a try!
